No experience with this one...

U having trouble with the one you have?

I have been thinking about just buying a dedicated AR style rifle in 22LR...lots of them available now

Have heard that sometimes grud from the 22 ammo can gunk up the gas system of a std 223 AR...but I'm sure you shoot enough 223 to keep it blown out

I bought the Spike's Tactical 22 for my AR. I've put about 300 rounds through it without and problems. They recommend that you put a few 223 after shooting to clean out the gas system. I noticed that the chamber adapter had a hair line crack in it. I call Spike's and told them the problem and the sent me a new adapter right away no questions asked didn't even want the old adapter back.

I really love shooting it so much fun, even the kids enjoy...

Nope - working like a charm. Just thought that for the price it may be worth getting another -- that BlackDog mag cost $20 alone ..

Have had no problems with my ceiner I got from midway. never seen an olympic up close so can't say. Most of them look identicle to me.

A friend who has a spike's tactical conversion and some of the smoke black dog's had a problem with jamming. Casing was getting caught between the claw of the charging handle and the bolt after a shot...happening often...very weird. I believe it was the ammo. When she switched to some higher velocity CCI ammo, it stopped. Be sure to use HiVel when using these conversions...although so far I've been good using the cheap federal at walmart with no jams.

Hey Cap didn't we shot some subsonic with your 22 LR kit in a suppressed AR?....

fed fine as I remember...talk about quiet! All you heard was a click and the 22 hitting the 200 yard gong down range...it was impressive...

made me want to get a suppressor for my Ruger 10/22 but I just don't want to go through all the hassle to get it right now

mine worked great and accuracy was pretty good, i got pics i'll upload from iPhone tomorrow. I put it in my Bushy w/HBAR and open sights. well worth the money if anybody needs to know.

To all: Methos, Capt03 and I all have this conversion and it functions well w/o hiccups.

Can't say on the Olympic as I don't have one. My Ceiner works fine. Black Dog mags are the cats meow over the other choices.

Stay away from the cmmg conversion. Mine broke after two weeks. I had a welder put it back together and now it good. The welds on the cmmg piece look like crap. If I did it over I would use the spikes kit.

Its a serious varmint blaster.
Green Mountain Match barrel so it will put some serious groups out there with the right ammo.

Yep, its perfect.
i can close my eyes and shoulder the rifle and when my eyes open i can see thru the scope just fine without haveing to reposition my cheek on the stock. Everybody makes fun of it, but it works. thumbs up

We do alot of shooting at night and last thing i want to do is try and find the crosshairs while the varmint is on the way back to cover.
