This is my current inventory. Did not have a good show last weekend at the gun show, and did not have time to post these knives before the show. If anyone is interested in one, post your questions here and I will give more details. As questions are asked I will edit this post to include the details. Thanks for looking.

All knives are tapered tang except #14.

#1, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 all have G-10 handles (fiberglass laminate, very tough) and 154cm steel.

In the spirit of the recurring theme of my posts in this forum I once again find myself knowing nothing about longarms.

I just found out that my shotgun has shipped and the notification stated that I should check the firearm before I leave the shop with it. Upon reading that I thought "thats a good idea" then I realized I dont know what to check. So what im getting at is: what should I check in order to be sure its in good order before taking it home and removing cosmoline?

One of the most important things you can do to help improve your handgun shooting skills is regular dry fire practice.

To do this you must be absolutely sure to remove all loaded ammo from your area when practicing....

One item that comes in handy is the safe direction containment system.

For years I've always stepped outside to unload weapons. With this item it is possible to safely unload a firearm in your home. These also can act as suitable backstops for dry fire practice.

It pains me to do this but Uncle Sam thinks he needs even more of my money.

This is a 1970 model Marlin model 444. The action is similar to the 336 but its chambered for the 444 marlin cartridge. This is a pretty gun with the monte carlo style raised cheek piece and 100 year Marlin coin. 24" barrel. The finish on the wood is not perfect. Bluing is I'd say 95% to 98%. Only thing I've added is a Williams peep sight and dovetail fill but I have the stock sight I will include.

As per HAMMER we are getting as far away from the gun owner theme as he wants. He said funnies can go here in G.O.T. (general off topic) So my "little" mind went to work. I'm thinking we just start a funny Thread and keep adding jokes to it instead of having a whole section for this. Sound OK to y'all? If this is cool with y'all we can just keep the funnies here. And remember to watch your language! And some gun related jokes would be good too!

$495 - Great opportunity to add a COLT to your collection.

Colt Detective Special - nickel with nice wood grips. Very smooth and locks up nice.

It has scratches on the side next to the Rampart Colt. Looks like from shell ejection. I cleaned it up last night and it is beautiful. Put in your hands and you want let go of it.

Well yesterday I decided to buy me a new S&W M&P 15-22. I got it at about 10am. I went to shoot it at about 2 that afternoon. This thing was shooting fairly accurate and had very few firing problems at about 200 rounds. I was very impressed. I put it back in my truck about to head home, but my little cousin drove up wanted to see it. I pulled it back out and loaded it. I fired about 10 rounds and then it happened. It fired out of battery.

Negotiators and a SWAT team from Medford police safely took a man — whose name wasn't released — into protective custody Monday morning in the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford police said in a news release.

He was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental-health evaluation.

My RCBS 357 resizing die is scratching my brass. I have resized 200 357 NICKLE cases with the die, and that's when the problem started. The inside of the die looks smooth as silk, but evidently it ain't! How can I polish the scratches out? I thought about using 0000 steel wool wrapped around something in my drill to try to polish it out. Or just buy carbide sizing dies and start over. Any advice appreciated.

A failure to fire or eject a spent round in a semi-auto requires the slide to be cycled again and the pistol tipped to the side to allow the cartridge or casing to fall free from the pistol. A stovepipe jam requires the shooter to sweep the top of the pistol with his hand and knock the vertical case off the slide. The ...

AR-15 Trigger pin broke

Ive been trying to figure out why my new ST22 would only shoot once or twice then the hammer wouldnt reset. It has a 1.5# Jard Adj trigger. Another of my ARs has a 3# Jard Adjustable trigger and i could swap lowers and it shoots fine..

Last night i decided to swap the #3 and the 1.5# springs. Well as soon as i got the pin halfway out of the ST22 lower part of the pin fell out..

Found the problem pretty quick..

Cell phone pic... real camera is MIA..

She did not know how to load or unload it. Her Son gave her the revolver and gave her no instructions. Whe she lef the class she said: "I am cinfident that I can operate this revolver properly and shoot it accurately enough to protect myself."

There were 3 other Women at the class, who never fired a ...

I have since found out that these are used with steel shot and a have a slightly larger capacity than unibody shells of the same make. I can't find any loading data in my RCBS manual. I need a recipe for these with ...
