Guy i worked with at my old job said he could shoot a group that was the size of a silverdollar with his 30-06 at a mile.. i asked how far that was and his reply "1000yds"... oh really now??? so what happened to the other 760yds? hahahah

I know a family that burried an old school bus in the side of a hill. When the tornado came thru Yazoo earlier this year its what saved them. Unfortunately they couldnt do it because the reciever is pressed aluminum welded in two pieces with a seam across the top. So I was wondering if anyone knows of some kind of scope mount that doesnt need to be screwed in but might be slipped over the receiver and tightened down with screws on the side, or anything generally like that ... The spotting scope is a Burris 20x50MM compact. Outside is fair to good. Nice glass on this little spotter. It's threaded for a tripod. $50 shipped.
