Joining the small arms equipment race...

Post by VegasSMG on Sat 30 Jan 2010 - 19:11

100+ Max-11/Soumi DF mag on top followed by 65+ magazine, and standard 36 round magazine on the bottom.

Why settle for 36 rounds of 9mm.....

... When you can have 106 rounds?!

It's a hair over 25" in length.

Surely somebody is going to ask, "Why?"

Give me an M1 rifle or a 1903 Springfield and I can wreak havoc with an enemy. We don't need these mags.

Doug
Understood Doug. I'd take my M1 over a subgun if I had to choose a single weapon for all uses. Different situations/competitions require different equipment and that's certainly the case here although there's something to be said about accuracy through volume.

This was an experiment to see if it would even function and the Soumi mags are cheap. I participate in monthly subgun matches and some stages don't require a reload. It MAY see some use if future testing proves this monster to be reliable and use in a subgun stage would save me time.

At any rate, it's not something you see every day, and Rednecks are everywhere. greeting

I don't know how many rounds it'll hold, but I loaded 110 rounds in the magazine this past weekend. It's not 100% until you work your way down to about 70 rounds at which point it's perfect. Still testing...

You might have found the right size. A 70 rounder.

Maybe the weight of 100 rounds is causing problems?

OMG Funny
