Joining the small arms equipment race...
100+ Max-11/Soumi DF mag on top followed by 65+ magazine, and standard 36 round magazine on the bottom.

Why settle for 36 rounds of 9mm.....

... When you can have 106 rounds?!

It's a hair over 25" in length.

Surely somebody is going to ask, "Why?"

Give me an M1 rifle or a 1903 Springfield and I can wreak havoc with an enemy. We don't need these mags.

Understood Doug. I'd take my M1 over a subgun if I had to choose a single weapon for all uses. Different situations/competitions require different equipment and that's certainly the case here although there's something to be said about accuracy through volume.Doug Bowser wrote:Give me an M1 rifle or a 1903 Springfield and I can wreak havoc with an enemy. This was an experiment to see if it would even function and the Soumi mags are cheap. I participate in monthly subgun matches and some stages don't require a reload. It MAY see some use if future testing proves this monster to be reliable and use in a subgun stage would save me time.
At any rate, it's not something you see every day, and Rednecks are everywhere.

I don't know how many rounds it'll hold, but I loaded 110 rounds in the magazine this past weekend. It's not 100% until you work your way down to about 70 rounds at which point it's perfect. Still testing...
Re: Joining the small arms equipment race...
You might have found the right size. A 70 rounder.
