hijacked In support of our young folks...thumbs up Ree, don't let 'em give you a hard time. Beretta makes an excellent weapon. They are well crafted, durable and accurate. I wouldn't get rid of any that I have and if you got one for a good buy then you did very well. There are several things I'd take over an XD or a Glock any day so I don't have a strong opinion in this matter myself. NOW... OT

hey, guns is guns & that's what we're here to talk about! Guns are just as personal a choice as car brands and music... To each their own.

I can say that I have personally trained with an M9 berretta while at Fort Benning. I hate them. I don't like the way they feel, I don't like the placement of the mag or slide release at all. I also got to train with the army's Sig (226) and fell in love with them, even though the one I trained with was a ragedy POS...

I love my XD and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

....There are many like it, but this one is mine......

Take off work if at all possible? My XD is open for folks to test as well. You can shoot some of my ammo, but feel free to squeeze off as many of your own rounds as you want (I'm not against reloads, but I wouldn't want anything you wouldn't use in your own piece).

Well since yall brought up some other guns I really like my HK USPC9, it's one of my carry guns with my Matt Del Fatti holster. Wink

In the mean time, I just had to throw this in for the fun of it lol

Funny Love the movie!

Are you sure about the G36SF, because it is already a single stack frame. Did you mean the G30SF?

As far as choosing between the two I like both, but in effect I have chosen with my wallet. Glock gets my vote! Reasons for my choice are:
1. Rust resistence
2. I'm used to them and shoot them fairly well
3. Plentiful magazines reasonably priced
4. I like the grip angle (For me it works)
5. They go bang when I want them to (the only malfuntions I've ever had were opperater induced, or bad ammo. With that being mentioned I've only had 3 malfunctions thru 5 Glocks, and I don't know how many thousands of rounds)

I just love guns. As long as it's a quality brand, go for what you like. I really wanted a 10mm after shooting a buddy's Glock 29 so I ordered a Glock 20sf (first handgun purchase). I'm big on ammo cap and I want a 9mm, so my next purchase will be an XDm. What are your requirements and go from there.

AMMO CAP.... Just get you a Glock17 and put some +6's on it or get a "big stick" (33) for the hard times. XDm is a totally different gun that a Glock. Grip angle is way different, not saying it's bad, but different. The 10mm is a bad mutha, I got one and it rocks.
thumbs up

I was beginning to wonder where the 10mm owners were! I did a search for "10mm" and only had 3 results.
