I think it will blow over. I'm also a "hope for the best but plan for the worst" kind of guy.

I think it'll all blow over...it's just the dems feeling sorry for themselves right now between the shooting and losing some control. If it'd been a rep they wouldve still blamed te gun for making the guy go insane and allowing the gun to kill all those people, but they wouldn't be quite as persistent about it

I hope it will blow over, but i think it might not with the current administration. The only things i will be buying at the gunshow this weekend is a couple of mags(ive been planning to get a few more soon, might as well now).

IF you can buy them now for REGULAR prices why not...but I do think it will blow over...only because the guy happened to be a LEFTY and a NUT.

IF he would have had one minor attachment to ANY republican or conservative or tea party person, book, web site etc. the pressure then MIGHT have been too much for the coward politicians to resist... IF this had happened before the 2010 class took office, just a few months earlier, we could have had major portions of our rights ripped away...AGAIN!

This happened not because he happened to be a LEFTY but because he was/is NUTS. This was the result of a CRAZY person...not a political movement or event. PERIOD.

Should have had them long ago. Knew anything that happened would send ammo and mags out of this world like the Brady Bill. Saw a guy pay $375 for 3 hi-cap ruger mini-14 mags. Wait it out, see a decent deal, go for it. Otherwise, this too shall pass.

Don't think we will see any new gun laws, read this-
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/01/11/new-gun-control-legislation-in-congress-unlikely/

Seems there a lot more people in congress that has the sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions wrote on the heel than I thought.. lol

"We are a pro-gun Congress, and have been for a while," says a House Democratic leadership aide.

Yep, and Congress is probably more pro-2nd amendment now with all the newly elected republicans. Doubtful that any new laws will pass anytime soon.

I'm tired of this! We can't blame this on left handed people! I'm tired of all the prejudice going around!!!! lol

Seriously, I believe this too shall pass! They (elected officials) have too much more important issues to deal with. I believe that has saved our gun rights for the last 2 years.

How many is enough? 10 of each? 20? 25?
Prices will jump with all the hoopla going around.

Another school shooting today...

But how could this happen since it was in Commifornia, where there is very strict gun 'safety' laws...???

Simple, the student only brought it to show others and dropped it, injuring two other students? scratch

Sounds kinda fishing to me dropped it and it went off twice? Read one article said gun was dropped and went off once wounding 3 and one said it went off twice wounding 2. Wonder what really happened?

I thought gun restrictions eliminated all chances of gun violence...???

I do not mean to make light of the terrible situation, I AM making light of the 'rational' and 'logic' of those who do not understand that you simply cannot regulate and legislate human nature...

This is obviously not a true story at all, it was a GUN FREE ZONE.
