Senator Boxer, please cite statistics of Concealed Weapons Permit holders that committed a crime using their firearm.

Then, see the statistics of Concealed Weapons Permit holders that have used their firearm to STOP a crime.

See which is larger. Logic would then dictate a REQUIREMENT to carry a concealed weapon.

What a friggin Idiot.

I would not go that far.....Senator Boxer, Please see the Second Amendment Period. The 2A does not say a thing about training or LEO consultation, as a matter of fact it says "shall not be infringed" DUH!

Thank GOD the Republicans have the House now, although they are no SURE thing we are much better represented by them. Just think if this TRAGEDY would have happened last January with a Democratic controlled Federal Government and with a 'nothing to lose' in the next election attitude because they were already screwed...

Things could have gotten REAL bad for the Second Amendment!

The snake in the grass worded it like anyone was against it lacked common sense. I hope she is still around in 2012 to seal Oby's fate.

Barbara Boxer?...................................Common Sense?

I tried to put those two words together but it just didn't work.

This method has been "in style" for centuries and it doesn't seem to age.

Boxer is just another freedom-hating Progressive/Globalist/Communist/Elitist.

She knows exactly what she is doing and, from her point of view, it makes perfect sense.

OK, I've contacted my 3 Federal reps, Cochran, Wicker and Palazzo!

"I've just read that Senator Barbara Boxer is planning to introduce "Common-Sense Concealed Firearms Act of 2011 ". I hope that you will fight against this and any other gun control legislation that further stomps on our
Constitutional 2nd Amendment rights. The individual states each have their unique reasons for deciding what their permit requirements should be and this is one case where "one size does not fit all". I ask you to not only vote against this bill and any amendments to it, but to fight and persuade others not to suppport it.

Thank you for representing me and the great state of Mississippi!"

Now it's your turn!

Has this bill been actually introduced? I went to her website and can find nothing but the press release; can't find it as having been actually filed.

Senator Boxer’s legislation would require all states that allow residents to carry concealed weapons to establish permitting processes that would include meaningful consultation with local law enforcement authorities to determine whether the permit applicant is worthy of the public trust and has shown good cause to carry a concealed firearm.

[b]Screw you, ya old hag.

The House pretty much stuck it to us when they passed that silly Continuing Resolution garbage. Mr. Pallazo will be getting a call from me.

But has anything been filed? All I see is her propaganda press release...no senate bill #, etc.
Oh, and a bit of Schadenfreude: I see she was hospitalized briefly in Italy today...unfortunately they let her out...

I hope the burn this and run her out of this country. It says on her website that 60 percent of persons polled would like to see this come to law. I ask this...how many of those polled own and carry a gun in accordance with state law. This is an absolute joke!!!! She has lost her mind officially.
