Coyote hunting HELP with the rules in mississippi

guys me and my paw-n-law have been talking about going coyote hunting. got a good spot to go and got good weapons, but i have never really been actual hunting for coyotes so i am not familar with the rules in mississippi, could ya ll please help by telling me the rules and some tips. thanks

Go to MDWFP.com and look on the left side of the page and click on Nusiance animals and you should find whatever your looking for. Actually know of no rules as long as you are on private land.

do you know if you can shoot them at night with a spot light?

I think you can but you can only use a .22lr or shotgun at night if I remember correctly.

dang guess my custom remington r-15 with a coyote special, my h&r handi .223 and my custom .17 hmr is out of the question thinking that sucks. during the day you can use what ever?

Yep, unless it's deer season then you have to use the weapon for the season.

if im not mistaken this time of the yr u can use whatever you want. id check the department website tho

Outside of deer season, you can hunt 24-7, at night, with a light, whatever caliber you choose, and use electronic calling devices.

I'd like to shoot them with CCI MiniMags. Might mix in an AR shot or two. Got a night spotting scope, cheapie but I like looking at the wildlife at night when we camp. Just looking for an invite. Might go with son in law to his deer camp but don't think there are a lot there.
