In NE MS I would recommend Richie's in Algoma in general and Tupelo Custom Weaponry for the more tactical flavor. Mike a Tupelo Custom is awesome with ARs, Glocks and 1911s.

I was referred to Billy Tiers for some gunsmithing work and didn't know him. I'm glad someone else has experience and positive feedback about him. Thanks.

His shop is in the sticks but he does top quality work. He does all of our guns.

Highly recommend Daniel Robbins in Mt Olive. Have been well satisfied with all the work he has done for me. And he's a great guy to do business with!

I will have to add Jimmy Bagby at Firearms Outfitters in Vicksburg. I have known Jimmy for 15 years and he always shoots straight with me. I recently took three pistols in for him to examine for a shootable restoration and he simply turned down two as beyond repair and told me the third one was one I could do myself. I have Remington 22LR I will have him re-blue for me and I know that will come out looking great. I am very picky about who I let work on my guns since many of them are family heirlooms. Especially my Parker Brothers 12 ga.

For bluing and duracoating I like Daniel Robbins. Very pleased with a Browning A-5 that he refinished for me. For more durable finishes. I like ROBAR and their NP3 and Roguard finishes.

+1 for Daniel Robbins. He just repaired a Buckmark that I had messed up and helped me with a grip issue on my Kel-Tec PF-9.

Can someone tell me where Mr. Duckworth is located. I'm getting two different addresses when I look up his name. Does he have a shop or is he out of his home?

Re: Gunsmiths in Mississippi
I wanted to share an experience I had today with Mr. David Duckworth. I called him to see if he needed any help at his shop. Like most gunsmiths in this area that I've talked to, Mr. Duckworth has a small shop and does all his own work. Definitely nothing wrong with that, but what was so great was he talked to me for a little over a half hour giving me advice and answering any questions I had about the business. I know he is a very busy man, but it was very nice to talk to someone as nice and as encourgaing as he was. I also talked to David Robbins in Mt. Olive at the recent gun show and was also impressed at how friendly and helpful he was. I've never had any work done by these two gentlemen, but their professionalism and kindness makes me highly recommend them both.
