It's kinda like a steel match but w/ 2 people and you race . I don't know much about it yet they talked about it some at the last IPSC match . . . .Sounds like alot of fun though .

Re: Man on man steel
2 shooters
2 shooting boxes
5 pieces of steel counting 1 popper that is crossed for tie breaker
We will have Open and Limited to start. We may have side matches down the road for .22's.
We will do elimination by best 2 out of 3. Once a shooter has 3 losses on their card they don not advance. We will establish classes as the program advances. We'll use known ability and will look at classifications from other shooting sports like USPSA and ICORE.
$5.00 entry fee and the match is 4th Saturday of every month. Matches willl start in the 8:30 to 9 range.

Bring 200...the longer you stay in the more you'll need.

This sounds like a fun . . . if one's ego gets checked at the front gate.

Hooked already!
OK, I am a rifle guy, only training with handguns to maintain profiency for self-defense. Rifle Matches are my comfort Zone. I borrowed some equipment(USPSA Limited gear I think) during the 2011 Magnolia Annual meeting and shot Man on Man during the demo in the rain. After that experience I am already hooked on this competition.
It is the most exciting shooting competition I have participated in and I have competed in the Rifle Sports all over America for many years. It is like 30 second sudden death shoot-offs in Rifle Silhouette but over and over again.
If I had known how much fun this was I would not have signed up for the Texas State Silhouette Match March 26. Now I cannot get my money back and I am going to miss the first Clash of Steel at Magnolia. I am not a happy camper for missing this one and I could have bought a complete handgun rig for what I will spend at that one Rifle Silhouette Match with gas and lodging.

Come to the steel match this Sunday.
Oh and it's a lot more fun when you have a working handgun (I was watching).

Sure hope I can make the match, what time do you need folks to help with setup?
Don't think I'll need 200 rounds, imagine I'll be out long before that, but it will still be fun.
