Every Day Carry Gear or EDCG
I would like to Challenge our posters to take pictures of your Every Day Carry Gear. I want photos, not just a description. Explain your choice of Firearm, holster, knife, flashlight, any any other gear that you go through the day with. Lets compare and contrast what systems work, and what systems don't. I bet we learn something. My pictures will be on this afternoon.

Re: Every Day Carry Gear or EDCG
I'll bite.
On my person this is what I carry. Missing from the photo is a leatherman Squirt PS4. I needed a small tool of some sort that had your usual screw drivers and things like that, but I often find the need for a small pair of pliers, and this tool has it, as well as a knife blade, wire cutters, and scissors.
Light is a nitecore D10. Runs off of one AA battery, and has a max output of 145 lumens. Low medium and high output settings as well as SOS and Strobe. I chose it for it's size and output. There are smaller lights out there, but for me the size of the D10 was more usable than some of the smaller lights out there. Also for the fact that AA batteries are generally easier to find in a pinch than Cr123 and even AAA. Nitecore also has a diffuser and filter set that I keep in my EDC pack for work/school
Gun is a taurus 709 slim stainless. Rides in a crossbreed supertuck. Ammo currently is hydrashocks, but would like to replace with the new(er) hornady Critical Defense whenever I can find somebody with some. I don't generally carry the spare mag, but i may eventually find myself carrying it. I chose it mainly because at the time it was one of the few slim line single stack 9mm's on the market (a market which has just exploded in literally the last couple months). I know there are plenty who say you can carry a double stack sub compact or even full size without issue, but I really didn't want something that thick and bulky as a consistent CCW. Personal preference, ymmv. On occasion I will carry my Sig 226 w/ Surefire X300 in a raven concealment OWB holster depending on what i'm doing. Mostly for going out hunting or whatnot.
Knife is a Benchmade 550HG Griptillian. I chose it for it's weight mainly. I have been eying a Zero Tolerance O350 with speed safe, but it weighs literally twice what the benchmade does, and save for cool factor, there is nothing really gained by spending the 100$+ on a new blade. It's been a great knife, and with benchmade's life sharp service, should I ever screw up my edge enough, I know I can get a factory bevel put back on it for little cost (5$)
The rest is simple. My phone, wallet and keys. On my keys I keep a pico widgy bar from county comm to keep me from using my other tools for prying or what not. On my wrist I wear a luminox Seal II watch with a maratac rubber watch band.

No pictures, but most everyday I have my backpack with me that I take to school and work. What I keep in it is mostly support gear for various electronics and some other sundry items.
Pack is a Kelty Peregrine 1800
Laptop and charger
Phone charger
Camera
Camera Charger
Duct tape (roll the size of a quarter)
10ft of paracord
Boo Boo kit
Israeli Bandage and Nitrile Gloves
Wireless mouse
Lens solution and cleaning cloth
AA batteries (feeds my nitecore and mouse)
Diffuser/Filter for Nitecore
Space blanket

My EDCG

I want to be clear, I don't carry both G23 and the G27, I usually carry either-or, but not both, I love my Glock Model 23, this little baby rides in a Blackhawk CQC Holster, a fantastic rig for carrying all day long. On my off hand I carry an extra magazine in a matching mag holder. I find this carry combo is the perfect combo of great caliber, size and fighting efficiency and when possible that is my go to CCW Pistol,
In the summer time, when the t shirts and shorts come out I switch to my Glock Model 27, in an outstanding Galco Walkabout holster, with this rig my little compact Glock 27 virtually disapears under a T shirt, If you looking for a great carry rig, I would highly recomend this holster. It also carries and extra mag in this little IWB Holster.
I have switched away from the usual hip pocket wallet, if you guys are still using the old right hip pocket wallet, please try a front pocket wallet, it makes may back feel sooo much better.
I always carry a flashlight and cam assisted knife, These are both cheap copies of good stuff, I plan on trading up to good Amercian Made FL and Knife asap

Re: Every Day Carry Gear or EDCG
Alright, so after getting all of my non-school, daily crap together I realized that it's no wonder I've lost 40lbs since thanksgiving and am still in the same size jeans! I've added like 10 pounds of junk!
First up: my Kimber Compact CDPII that has been treated in light gray/black-t by the folks at birdsong down the road from me in Florence. It rides in a crossbreed supertuck 99% of the time, and it's new friend, the crossbreed dual mag carrier, which usually has a variety of mags, depending on how I've rotated them out at the time. I keep it 7+1 at all times, with Hornady Critical Defense FTX rounds. The Kimber rides between 3 and 3:30, depending on the location of my belt loops. When wearing brown, or a particularly thick wastebanded pair of shorts I keep it in a Milt Sparks Versa Max II, which I forgot to take a picture of. I chose the Kimber for the good balanced feel of the 4" slide/bbl on a officer frame, plus it has all the carry necessitated bells and whistles, and with the new birdsong finish it should never rust even with the amount of sweat I'll be throwing at it. I prefer Kimpro tacmags, but the willson you see there and in the left front pocket later are ok as well.

Next up is my rotation of knives. A Kershaw Leek(my favorite as far as edge and action go), then my Gerber Remix(my favorite for styling, ergonomics and size of blade), and finally my Gerber FAST Draw(it's ok...kinda meek compared to the other two though....). They ride clipped to my right front pocket(school or not).

Now you see my knives, my Kimber PepperBlaster II(school carry), and missing is my iPhone4 that is kept in a otterbox defender. That all stays on/in my right front pocket. I got a Kimber pepperblaster for my fiancé and decided I'd grab one as well to keep on me at school. And the otterbox is just tough as nails, the iPhone is my life.

Shown here is my Beltman quickship belt, with a Harley-davidson belt buckle, 3 extra holes(need a few more) and my fossil wallet. The mag carrier rides around 7:00. The crossbreed supports all the
I carry on a daily basis very well, but currently I'm between holes with all my gear on, so it's not quite as supportive as it usually is since it's either cutting off circulation to the lower half of my body, or too loose.

Left front pocket holds truck(assorted others) keys, motorcycle keys(either for the Fatboy, Sportster or the Ninja), usually a 7rd mag(8 pictured), gum or peppermints, oakley cleaning bag, and a surefire G2(borrowed from my brother since mine crapped out when I washed it a few weeks back...time for an upgrade). The surefire is an ok flashlight...NOT washing machine proof though!!! So don't forget yours in your shorts like I did! I don't like the twist cap, or the pressure switch, I'd rather have a click on/off system, and the light is a little yellow for my tastes(I guess my streamlight tlr-1 on my xdm spoiled me a bit).

And here it is all together.

Hope to have a new pancake holster for the probably very rare occasions that I'll carry OWB, from EagleStroker, pretty soon if he'll get a move on so I can post some pictures!

Talon Grip tape. Highly recommend it. I have it on all my Glocks. Best $10 you can spend on a Glock in my opinion.

This is my EDC followed by my farm only gear. I don't smoke but always carry a lighter, I rotate the two (nice thing about the butane is it doesn't dry out like the Zippo). The light is a PT-2L and is my first 'nice light.' I've made a pouch for it by most prefer it in the small pocket on my jeans or cell phone pocket on the Columbia pants I wear most often. I swap between the Kershaw and SOG which are my two favorites for everyday and use the el cheapo buck on the farm as it is a good reasonably priced knife that doesn't hurt my feelings if I lose it. The big knife is a RAT-5.
