Post by Hammer on Sun Mar 27, 2011 2:44 am

Are these conducted every Friday night? May make a trip down south to shoot one. What are the times, rules and such.
Post it up here and I will make a sticky with the info.

I let Mat know you wanted partic's on Gun-Ho plate match. He will surely be glad to fill you in on all the important details. BTW, The plate rack they use is the original one from Max Michel's teenage years...when he whooped all the old experts to shame back in the day!

Hammer sorry I just saw this. Yes, the match is every friday night with shooting starting 7:00 pm on the dot.

The match is shot at gun-ho indoor range in pass christian ms.
The rules are pretty simple.
a quick run is this. we follow the cold range line.
and USPSA safety rules.
It is man on man drag racing broken down into several divisions
grand master draw under 2.5
master draw 2.5 -3.00
A draw 3.00- 3.5
B draw 3.5-4.00
C low ready no draw 4.00-599
D low ready no draw 6.00 and up
Shooter will come to the line in a random order and shoot 5 8 inch steel falling plates from a distance of 30 feet. the best 2 out of 3 runs wins the round. you must loose 3 rounds to eliminated. the C and D classes are non draw classes and you shoot from the ready position.

there are no gear limitations you are scored only by time so yes you may see some open rigs in the lower time classes.

we are avg about 20-25 shooters each match and the entry fee is 10 dollars

in the next few weeks we will begin pay outs.
