JP Reduced Power AR Trigger Spring Kit
I have to give a big thumbs up to this kit. It is well worth the $11 (including shipping) that I paid for it. With the spring installation alone, my trigger went from 5-1/2 lbs to 3-1/2 lbs. Now, it does nothing for takeup or creep, but the weight of the trigger pull is what bothered me. It's not so much that it was too heavy, but swapping to it from my Kimber or .308 made it difficult to shoot well for the first few rounds.
I highly reccommend this kit!

Brownells.
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=7582/avs%7CManufacturer_1=J%20P%20ENTERPRISES/Product/AR_15_REDUCED_POWER_SPRING_KIT
It shows $9.99, but when I added it to my cart, the price dropped to $8.57.

Nice. I've been wondering if those work. That is a lot of bang for the buck.

You have a C&R don't you? that's why the price drops when you put it in your cart, you get a discount because of the C&R.
I'm going to have to check out the spring kit for my AR.

I don't have a C&R license. Maybe they just like me!

You're getting dealer price for some reason. Maybe you checked the box when you signed up? It's a "trick" lots of folks use.

Didn't mean to if I did, but I'll take it! I wish you could add what you want to for the NRA like you can at Midway.

Just giving this topic a bump. I installed one of these sets today and it took my el cheapo trigger that came with the parts kit from 8# to just under 4# according to my RCBS pull scale. I didn't do any polishing because I want to test how this does on a few ammo types.
