Night Shoot at Necks? - Judging Interest Level

Neck did yall ever do this night shoot? I'd be interested in going if yall do it again. I searched night shoots and saw this come up

was hoping to get some class 3 stuff to come play etc etc....

Do a pistol shoot and there will be. You can do one with all the freshly minted enhanced permit holders. We can see who really knows how to shoot, and who doesn't.

I'm pretty much ready when ya'll are...we'll make it a pistol shoot...

just gonna need some set up/course of fire help..a few pieces of steel...The Texas Star with a strobe light would be very wicked... just a few small generators for a lilttle light is all we need

Have berms and we can make a course through the woods to grandma's house so to speak

Ya'll say when...long as it's not a on call week...I'm up for it...even in winter...got a decent brush pile ready to burn for a bonfire that would last several hours

Works for me. I have to pick up a streamlight TLR-2 for it from work, then I'll be ready.

Sounds like its gonna be one hell of a fun time. I'm free every weekend in jan except the 1st and the 8th. so I quess I should say I'm free the last 2 weekends

Man I completely missed this thread I'm in pretty much any time unless something comes up at last minute. The Texas star idea sounds like a helluva idea and like some serious fun I've never shot one day or night so should be interesting. Let me know when it gets set and if I don't have anything come up I'll be there.

I've been out to Necks for one F-class .22 match and it was a great location and match, just super cold that day. If we chose a date, I have a Coleman 1500 & Honda eu2000i watt generators to use. May suggest a Spring date because although this has been a warm Winter thus far, the temps will drop down and could be miserable in February and early March.

Anyone come up with a date yet?

I probably have just about everything to make up some led lights for the texas star. I know i have tons of leds, may need some batteries donated. They will run a good while just off a cr 2032 or similar battery. I know ive got white and blue, may have red too.

Man this past weekend would have sure been a good one...

seems like it hard to judge when a good time would be....That burn pile I had that would last several hours is gone now....

Just have a small burn pile now....

March and April are gonna be super busy...

and I know the pistol shooters have lots of Big Matches in May...(probably the most ideal time generally)

We might just have to have a few out to make a trial run....and then let it grow...I need a couple of the USPSA "players" available for course setup and maybe Magnolia would let us borrow a few poppers to make it more fun
