OutLaw Steel Match This Saturday, April 9th At Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club...

Set-up will begin promptly by 7:30 AM. ALL in-town shooters are expected to be there for set-up, as we will have the shooter's meeting by 8:45 AM, so the match can start at 9:00 AM. Late entrants will not be accepted without prior approval.

All shooters are expected to help in tear-down.

Just about everyone has been great on set-up the last few months. Let's keep it going. We dont want to beat anyone up over the work issue, but please be kind to your fellow shooters. Many hands make light work.

I notice there's a high power match scheduled for the same time... Is this just a real big shootin range?

It's a really nice facility.

In the picture below, the range is seen just south of Swinging Bridge Rd. The steel match will be held on the shorter range bays on the left (West) side of the range, with possible one stage being set up on the far right (East) bay. High Power is held in the center long range section. The longest berm on the bottom of the picture is 300 yards from the firing line. During most matches, there is at least part of the range open for range members to be able to shoot:

Can't wait to try out the new trigger job on the M&P 9L, time to head out and buy more ammo. Yes, I know I should be reloading, but that initial invest for the press and components to get started is what's killing me.

Nice thanks for all the info guys, hope to see ya'll there. I plan on bringing a Walther P22 and all the safety stuff, mags etc. I'll be a tall skinny guy prolly have a green booney hat on. (And will look lost) ha

I may show up to watch..... Have to see if I can get up early enough to make it for sign up. I'll have both my boys I wanted my oldest to run a P22 but that fell through so we may just watch.

Great that you could come out and play today, hope to see you at the next match and/or the USPSA match in June.

Was just watching the news and there was Cliff talking about the shooting events out at Magnolia and at the end of the segment you can see Justin doing his fantastic run with the Texas Star.

Yea I'll try to make some more for sure. Ya'll were very helpful, I had a great time. I may try to get better time on my next trip. I've never practiced where I drew so fast and all that. And the News presented the Event/Magnolia R+P in a very positive manner so that's always a plus.
