We got something else to be proud of. My wife's brother came down from Seattle and couldn't believe when I handed a fella my money and walked off with a rifle, aka, the gun show loophole. Soon as they find us they'll be naming us "the gun forum loophole".

Three things Mississippi needs to work on:

Record keeping and retention
Inspections by police allowed
Colleges are not forced to allow firearms on campus

I think there has been some movement on the college campus issue, but I don't understand the other 2 issues.

Does anybody know what the state is doing in those areas to limit our Second Amendment Rights?

To add one more "unlicensed carry," it may have something to do with one of the three, but should be singled out.

I don't think there are restrictions on private owner purchase/sale of firearms in Washington. Well, except knowingly selling a firearm to convicted felon. That's in any state though.

Note: Washington just signed into law to legalize the use of suppressors. That's a blue state for ya.

i'd say in the next 3 years, unless NObama takes away all guns before his run is up, campus carry will be legal...its catching on. Its too late for me to start up anything at USM, but hopefully folks like Ree and Islandtimes will get somethin going at Ole Miss, and my younger brother is talkin about USM in a year, so I'm sure he'll be wanting to get something going there.

but yes, we need to work on those 3 issues so we can have a perfect score!
