SWGC Action pistol CCW(pic heavy)

Post by Beladran on Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:37 pm

i had a good time today. I thought the ccw event was gonna run along with the normal action pistol event but it didnt and i only had my open gun = ( i knew i should have brought the M&P!!! o well... I am not normally the pic taker guy but since Scooter was running the program today i stepped up to the plate. There was a little fella there that was maybe 10, he had his bull barrel Mrk3 and was waxing some butt! my hat is off to scooter for bringing the only "true" ccw gun(5shot snub) and he rocked it like a pro.

on a side note.
while i was gathering brass something caught my eye..

who ever was shooting 40's has some issues. cases spliting and primers flowing...

also one of the fundimental rules of shooting was made painfully obvious to one shooter today(dont trust other peoples reloads). Poor fella had purchased a TON of 45acp from an estate sale. looked like 185gr or smaller swc with a little over 3gr of bullseye in it. He was shooting it out of a stock GI 1911. On the mover he had 12 FTF/FTE and numerous other issues through out the ccw event. Then I broke this rule. The other revo guy there was shooting some 115gr 38's and gave me 6 to try out... well they wouldnt fit in my cylinder = ( O and i had two mis fires on Fed gold medal primers today... i didnt think that was supposed to happen lol O and my jamming issue never showed its ugly face today.

Beladran, The pictures turned out good. Thanks for taking them.

On a side note…. I took my wife to the Italian restaurant you told me about. She loved it.
