Who sells used shipping containers?

Post by Hammer on Wed Apr 20, 2011 7:07 am

I am in the market for a used overseas shipping container to use for storage and small shop. Who sells them in the jackson area? I know about H&P leasing in Flowood. I am going by there today to see what they have.
Anybody got any other ideas?

One of those "tin shed in a box" from Sears............. Smile

What about one of those prebuilt small buildings that are delivered? I have no idea what the prices are, but they look better than a shipping container.

I tried to call swiftwater, keep getting answering machine.

SGF, those premade buildings are high as a giraffes back. I can get two containers for what one decent sized prefab buildings cost.

We might have a 20' for sale that is located in Lexington. We are pricing 40'ers right now. You would be responsible for getting it moved. PM me your info and if we decide I'll get in touch with you.

The owner of jammer cycles in lumberton(real place...set up a lot like Smith's speed shop, except bikes and cars instead of guns and cars) bought one to use as a storm shelter, since he couldn't just leave all his bikes and junk in the event of a hurricane. I was out there one day for him to look over my old Buell and saw that he'd been using the dirt he was getting from digging his "moat" to cover up the shed and help weigh it down...plus insulates it a bit better I'm sure...don't think he ever talked his wife into a drawbridge though..........
