Finally got one of those Midway Range bags

Post by miker84 on Mon May 09, 2011 5:36 pm

I've been using an old duffle bag, backpack, and a bug-out bag from LAPG. The LAPG bag is great, but it is going back to its orginal purpose. So, I finally ordered one of those 39.99 range bags from Midway. I should have ordered it long ago. This thing is huge and comes with another bag inside along with a brass bag and 2 zip-up pistol case-type things. Of course it also has outside pockets for stuff and one of the side pockets unzips and folds flat so you can use it to tinker with your pistol or whatever. The Dual Zipper top is a nice touch too. The color is green. Anyway, here are some pics:

I tried to order one earlier today and it said they're out of stock until July, you must have got the last one!

That's the same as mine. I regret not having one sooner!

Almost ordered one a few weeks ago and decided to hold off. I'm jealous! Looks like a quality bag at a great price.

I have the same one but black, it is a great bag and very sturdy.

ive had mine for 1-2 years and recieved an email from midway saying that they have had an issue with the shoulder strap not staying where you wanting it to so since they have had so many complaints they were sending everyone between 2 different dates new shoulder straps, I was impressed cause that was the only issue I had with mine.

you will like it a lot

also the padded rifle cases are awesome as well. very thick padding and very well made. I have 5 of them and the lil pistol pouch that has two pockets on one side and the other side holds 7 mags is a good lil pistol case

Those are pretty nice bags and a hell of a lot cheaper than the CED range bag that i use, my next range bag will be a one of those midway bags.....but I can't complain about my bag I got it used for $50. The ole boy I bought it from got it for christmas and he used it for one match and sold it to buy a larger CED bag.

If your on the coast Gun-Ho has a few of the Midway bags in stock but I'm not sure of the prices

I went ahead and ordered backordered one. They shipped my other stuff. Want $16+ for shipping the 5 lb bag. Should have told them to wait and send it all together since nothing was "must have now". Email said they were sending it. Hope I can get ahold of them to see if there's a slow boat from China to knock some of that $16 off.

I got stung on a backorder for a $5.00 part last week. Once you order it, you can't get out of backorder status.

I just got my Midway bag the other day. Very nice bag for the price, more like 4 bags. Very cool piece, can't wait to put it to use.

That looks a lot nicer than what I've been using. Might have to get one of those.
Thanks

I've bought a lot of stuff from Midway over the years and had a good relationship with them, but I can't make myself buy one of these despite the great price. Chuck Bradley, a shooter and long time supporter of the shooting sports designed his "Shooter's Connection Tournament Series" bag years ago, found a factory that would make them to his specifications, and is in business selling them today. Midway just recently "designed" theirs and started selling it. I'm not sure anyone can look at the two bags side by side and not see that one is a blatant rip off of a small business man's ideas and hard work.

The Midway version is $60 cheaper and a great design, but I just wanted everyone to know the facts before making their own decisions.

I got one of the Midway bags a couple of months ago. Caught it on sale. It's alot better that the small Walmart bag I had.
