Ms classic ammo ?
Ok I've got about 400 reloads loaded up for the classic. If I need to reshoot a stage and don't have enough ammo can I shoot wwb?

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say yeah...as long as you run both ammo's through the chrono
Why not avoid the issue and load up a couple 100 more reloads
Good Luck in the Classic

'Neck is correct and it is fine if you chrono both. You should be fine with about 400 rounds though even if you have to reshoot a stage. Total round count is just over 250. You want to be able to finish with full magazines, so add another 30 or so, and then of course there will be extra shots here and there, but you might could even do two or three complete reshoots, if necessary, with 400 rounds, especially if you were stopped early or if one was on a smaller stage. That is about the minimum I would bring for a match of this size.
I generally err on the safe side and try to load around double the round count. After case gauging and inspecting I will toss a few. For this match I didn't pay attention and actually loaded 600. It took a little over a half hour. One upside down primer and a couple that didn't case gauge left me with something like 596 bagged and ready to go. If I run out of ammo, something is really wrong... If you were shooting long loaded .40, I'd just say you could squad with me. Ha.
Good luck.

Just bring the WWB and leave them in the car or your bag. If you have to use them, make sure 8 get pulled aside and chronoed. If you don't have to use them, no worries.

Re: Ms classic ammo ?
Very rarely, truthfully, but it's always wise to be prepared. Shooting on the first day, the percentage is slightly higher, but it is still really low. I remember shooting first on a stage one year on Friday, and the steel wouldn't go down. I'm talking I had multiple hits with a major caliber .40. I finished the stage with a couple steel still standing and we checked it with the calibration gun as per the rules. Sure enough, no one had ever adjusted it when the stage was set up and it was all really heavy, so I ended up getting a re-shoot. There can also be an occasion where a stage is shot by several shooters or even a squad and something wrong is noticed. If the stage has to be changed for whatever reason, everyone who shot it before the change has to re-shoot. There can also be a prop malfunction, an RO run into or otherwise interfere with you or what have you, but this is also pretty rare.
It's been a while since I have had a re-shoot at any match, but I still carry enough ammo just in case...

It is partly up to the shooter to make sure the stage is set correctly before shooting it..... RO interference while shooting is RARE.........
I hate re-shoots........ but one time it helped me.....

Re: Ms classic ammo ?
Huh? The shooter should be preparing to shoot. It's the responsibility of the rest of the squad and ROs to make sure everything is reset. In my opinion, of course.SubGunFan wrote:It is partly up to the shooter to make sure the stage is set correctly before shooting it..... RO interference while shooting is RARE.........

I agree spanky.
P.S. I shot it clean enough not to need the extra wwb.

I agree with spanky. The rules say it is the RO's responsibility to ensure the stage is ready for the next shooter

Yes.... but I suggest the shooter quickly scan the stage to see if everything looks good. Say you are having a good run and come to a popper not set.............. RE-SHOOT. Your second run might SUCK....... but that is the run that is scored.
