Where do I get a brass catcher net like I saw at the MS classic?
Several stages at the MS Classic had black mesh netting placed on the ground to collect brass. It looked like the corners of the nets had weighted loops/handles to keep the net from blowing away.
Looks like a clever idea, and would probably collect less dirt and crud than the tarp I use now.
Is this some kind of minnow net that has been cleverly re-purposed for brass? Inquiring minds want to know.

I believe they were CED Brass Mats such as are pictured below. They are made of a waterproof mesh material that allows moisture and dirt to pass through while collecting cases. The corners are weighted, and it measures 54" x 72”.
Any of the MS Classic sponsors/vendors that are CED dealers should be able to get you one. Try Action Shooting Supply, Max's Choice, or maybe Power Factor Shooting (not sure if they are a CED dealer) here:

Alternatively, try Chuck at http://shootersconnectionstore.com/Default.aspx
No matter where you get it, let them know you saw it at the Classic and appreciated their support of the match!

Thanks Bryant. I did ask *a* vendor (can't remember if it was Tom or Sean) about them at the match, and he hadn't heard of them.
I figured someone here would know.

I would figure one of them would have it, but if they don't, I got that picture from CED's website where they can be purchased for $36.95 plus shipping. I've never bought anything direct and am not sure if that website is even based in the US to tell the truth, but the link is:
http://www.cedhk.com/shop/products/CED-Brass-Mat.html
Midway has them for a few dollars more:
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=413400
And then Angus at CZ Custom has them for the cheapest price I found in a quick search:
http://czcustom.com/testproduct-343.aspx
I try to support the sponsors/vendors if possible and sometimes some shipping can be saved by doing so.

There may have been other kinds at the Classic, but that kind is the one that I bothered to look closely at and actually remember seeing. The "loop" handles that look like they are filled with lead shot give it away.
But $119.95 isn't worth it to me unless it picks up, polishes, sizes, deprimes, loads, and chamber-checks the brass.
