Do you know right offhand exactly WHICH 7.62x54 you'll have available?

edit to add:

I may bring another rifle to shoot in relay 2 if I feel up to it, but don't reserve a spot for me in R2, especially if it looks like it's going to fill up.

I want to say that it is Romanian surplus, I think. I'll shoot a second relay as well with my Enfield if it is not full, but I think we'll have plenty of room for people to shoot two relays if they want to.

Thanks. I'm not 100% sure what all of mine is except for some modern Tula light ball that's non-corrosive.

The course of fire for vintage bolters is the same as the regular hi-power match, right? Just longer time limits for the rapid fire stages?

Still need 60 rounds of ammo - 10, 20, 10, 10, 10.....right?

Yep, same course of fire except we get 10 more seconds on the rapid fire stages. You may want to bring a few extra rounds just in case.

2d relay

Post by michael03a3 on Thu May 26, 2011 7:53 am

If we're pretty sure we'll have a 2d relay, I might plan to come around 11 or 11:30 and do that one, then help take down. Despite best intentions, I never seem to make it to the range before 8:30.

No problem. We should hopefully be wrapping up the first relay around 11:30.
