Norinco 213 sights

Post by jzap99 on Sun Jun 05, 2011 6:58 pm

I have a buddy that has one and the rear sight is off to the right to much. It looks like its just a dovetailed sight at least thats what I think its called. Anybody know how to remove sight or adjust it?

Thanks in advance.

I posted in the wrong section, this should go in handguns or gunsmithing I guess. I had Tokarev on the brain when I posted it.

If it is sighted in, it should be left alone. If windage is off, drift the dovetailed sight the way the bullet has to be moved.

Norinco 213 13rd mags seem to be hard to find. Plenty of the single-stack 8rd mags available.....

I agree with Doug. Check where the bullet is hitting before sight adjustments. The sight might be "correct" for that 213.......

I looked online but only could find the pro mag 8 rounder. I haven't had any luck in using pro mags they never seem to work right for me.

Sorry, had to join just for this topic.

With regards to the sight:
Yes, drift with a brass punch and a hammer.

With regards to the magazine:
Any Browning High Power magazine should fit if it's anything like mine. Norinco 213A model yes?

Welcome! Yes it is a 213A. Do you have to modify the Browning mags at all?

Yeah stay away from pro-mag anything if you can. I know I've never had any luck with them and they are often more expsive than higher quality mags

Pro mag products should be avoided like crack it never leads to anything good.

Lol, The one thing I had no issues with when using Pro-Mags was my Star Firestar M40. But yea, otherwise they're junk.
