OutLaw Steel Match At Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club in Byram This Saturday, June 11th.....

Set-up will begin promptly by 7:00 AM. ALL in-town shooters are expected to be there for set-up, as we will have the shooter's meeting by 7:45 AM, so the match can start at 8:00 AM to beat the heat.

All shooters are expected to help in tear-down.

Just about everyone has been great on set-up the last few months. Let's keep it going. We dont want to beat anyone up over the work issue, but please be kind to your fellow shooters. Many hands make light work.

Ugh the sinus bug has me feeling too miserable to go to work... but not to shoot I'll be there and try to keep up!

Well the good thing about a new gun is- you can blame your crappy shooting on the new gun.

Well that match was a catastrophe from the word go. Multiple failures on the star stage, multiple dropped shots and rushing screw ups on the back 40 and had to eat a 17 because I shot the stop and 30'd out on stage 1!

Not my best performance. ... the only one worse was my dq in October.

Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Good turn out and we were done and packed before 12. the early start really helped us survive the heat.

Next ICORE match is this Saturday, the 18th. Bring your semis if you don't have a wheel gun.

Sorry for the delay in posting the scores. My cold and sinus issues caused me to not even want to come out Saturday, and after 2 of 4 stages, I left and went to pick up mosquito nets for the Boy Scouts at Camp Hood before coming back and tallying the scores. My first ever DNF (Did Not Finish) since 2006. Thanks for all of your assistance, hope to see you all early Saturday morning for the ICORE match that starts at 8am.

Boy the malfunction on stage 3, my first stage of the day, really killed me, that will teach me to clean my gun right before a stage.
