A friend sent this, sounds like a great deal if anyone's interested. - http://www.huntandshoot.org/Opps/view.cfm?SEQ=6410

The Marksmanship Program of Mississippi's Department of Wildlife,
Fisheries and Parks (WFP) hosts shooting classes on selected Saturdays
throughout the year. These classes, basic (101) or advanced (102), begin
at 8:30 a.m. and finish by approximately 1 p.m.
Hosted through the cooperation of local gun clubs and a grant from
the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the classes are entirely free
of charge and are open to all residents of Mississippi. They are taught
by four-time U.S. International Shooting champion and state native John
Satterwhite.
Each participant's shotshells, clay targets, instruction and hearing
and eye protection will be provided. You may bring your own shotgun or
use one of the school's firearms. Note that all classes are subject to
change because of weather and other factors.
Call 407-414-4264 to register. Classes are limited to 15 people. The
Turcotte Education Center, on Highway 43 on the north end of Ross
Barnett Reservoir near Jackson, is the usual class location, but that is
subject to change, so be sure to call the number above.
Dates of these classes for July and August are as follows:

  • July 2, shotgun 102
  • July 16, shotgun 101
  • July 23, shotgun 102, Turcotte Ed. Ctr.
  • July 30, shotgun 101
  • Aug. 13, shotgun 102, Turcotte Ed. Ctr.
  • Aug. 20, shotgun 101
  • Aug. 27, shotgun 102 (dove hunting warmup) Turcotte Range, Canton
