ACTION PISTOL MATCH

Saturday, June 18, 2011
Registration at 8:30. Shooting begins Promptly at 9:00

SMGC Member Cost is $10.00, Non-Club Member Cost is $15.00, Junior Shooters $5.00

We will be shooting the Practical Event, Moving Target Event, and Steel Plate Event
Both Rimfire & Center Fire Classes
There will be 2 optional shotgun stages after the Practical/Plates/Mover events. This will be 2 gun stages starting with loaded & holstered pistol and shotgun. Round count will be less than 25 rounds of 20 or 12 ga. 7 1/2,8 or 9 shot lead target loads only. Pump, semi or SxS shotguns of your choice.

Eye and Ear protection to be worn, even by spectators.

You do not have to be a member of the gun club to shoot in this Match. Bring your friends.

whats the word on this match? how did it turn out?

We had 8 shooters, did the 3 stages(Practical, plates and mover) then transitioned to a standard 2 gun(shotgun & pistol ) USPSA format for 2 stages. I believe everyone present enjoyed the change in venue despite the heat.
