Dumpster find.

Im not a dumpster diver, never did it. But, I went to take the trash out to our neighborhood bin, opened the door and sitting right in front of the door was a Gun Guard rifle case in excellent condition. I checked Natchez SS and its one of the $75 ones with the aluminum valance, metal locking latches that all work (No key of course) and it has the interlocking foam inserts. I was thinking "How can I carry this out of here without the neighbors seeing?" then I just said to myself heck with it and went ahead and put it in the trunk. I dont really need it so Im thinking of putting it on Pay it forward, maybe someone can use it. Here's a couple of pics.

Dude, that thing needs a Kimber in it. All I ever see are banana peels & flies.

Actually I think it came out of an 90 year old neighbor who died last month house. The family sold the house last week and have been putting a lot of stuff out in the trash bin.

Another forum I've belonged to for years now has the same tradition under
the name "Karma", and its been my privilege to win a few, there is usually

Just kidding my arse! I'll stand duty for four hours a day. We can divey up the finds! Have to give Tanker an extra share since he found it. I can use a garden rake and put the grandson in there if anything looks promising.
Stake 'em out Tanker. No telling what they're throwing away. (My daughter would kill me if the wife didn't first but grandson would have a ball).

I used to work out of one of those self storage facilities and I found that there were a bunch of sales reps that did too. I dug out quite a bit of very useful stuff that those guys had thrown out and all without having to actually "dive". Everything that I got was within reach from the door. The right location can yield some interesting stuff!
