If it was priority mail, then it was in a big yellow bag full of priority mail that went through the Fedex hub. If the yellow bag had the wrong tag on the outside of it, then the whole bag went into the wrong can, which went into the wrong airplane.

I live in Southaven, MS. About 10 miles from that "sort facility."

Any ideas why they decided to take the package to Jacksonville, FLA?

This is just like a UPS screwup.. hah

Well.. the package got here and I figured out what happened.

I had ordered 2000 bullets for reloading and it seems they were shipped in a ammo can that was inside of a Flat Rate box.
Some how, USPS busted the box, ripped the hinges off the ammo can, but some nice sized dents in it, and then repackaged the box containing only about 300 out of the original 2000 bullets.

Nice.

Any thing you ship UPS has to be package according to their standards, that includes the package being able to withstand a drop of 3 ft and the toss from the truck to the conveyor or conveyor to truck at the hub. affraid That's why I try not to use them.

These arrived yesterday from Midway.......

Stuff for my new (to me) Win. 94 30-30. LEE 2C 30cal molds (one is 150gr and one is 170gr) and 2000 - 30cal gas checks.

I threw a box of 170gr FP bullets in the shopping cart since I was already at Midway. It might be a while before I get to cast some bullets, but I am ready......... Smile

More than a few.

Final count received was 585 out of 2000. And since I didn't buy the $3 insurance, lost a lot of money/bullets. I'm sure someone had fun cleaning up 1400 bullets in the USPS facility/truck.

How does someone beat up a can like that?! hah

A couple different types of ammo, some Ballistol to test out, and an adjustable stock for a shotgun (hoping to the the wife to shoot a little, and she needs a really short length of pull)...

Goodies at the door today from Midway USA and a guy in Florida.......

One box of R-P 300 Blackout ammo. The upper is still pending. I want an A3 Dissy upper because I like the looks and want the standard A2 sight radius. But Dissys in 300 Blackout are hard to find (so far). Note the 220gr bullet is taller than the case...... Smile

I will be making my own 300 Blackout brass in the future.

Just getting ready.................. Smile

Got this for 30-30 cast bullets.

These 2000 - 30cal aluminum gas checks came from a guy in Florida. At $23/1000 delivered, I have to try them. Captain, you are getting some of these to try......

Looks like Friday was a big day!
Sub- I made my own 300 brass a few times just so I'd know how to do it, but I've also ordered it from brads warehouse already formed. They'll form your brass if you send it to them.

I didn't know there were gas checks made of aluminum. Thought I had a brilliant idea to make a contraption to punch them out of coke/beer cans. Google says someone beat me to it. Oh well.

[img][/img] 10 new 30 round pmags from brownells and all but 4 are loaded now. I had to quit because my fingers couldnt take anymore. I've gotta get me a mag loader and im not using the ammo on strips anymore. It's just not worth the hassle when you can't get them to load correctly.

UPS just left the college I work at in Gautier. When I was signing for the packages I noticed a box from Midway on the truck. Asked the driver who it was going to? And all he would say is this fellow orders alot from them. I know TROJAN lives in Gautier. Maybe if it was him he will post it. Couriosity is killing me. thinking

Aimpoint PRO. They claim that it has a 30,000 hour battery life so you can leave it on for something like 3 years. 2 MOA dot and the rear cover is transparent so you can still use it in a hurry with the caps down and both eyes open.

That's Eaglestroker's brass in the background. Smile
