Dented brass, Safe?

Post by judgedelta on Fri Jun 17, 2011 9:55 pm

The bolt on my .308 has 2 ejectors and is throwing the brass against the deflector hard enough to make a dent. Is this bad enough to cause problems in reloading? (if the picture doesn't come up, I'm sorry, but I'm sort of new at this kind of thing...)

As long as you're not running hot loads, I think you'll be ok.

Run em through a Full length resizing die...If they will chamber OK, and no other signs of cracks...I'd say shoot em

That's why I don't like what military semi's do to brass...but that's the way it goes...
