Dates search capability

It would be nice if we had the ability to search for posts within bracketed dates that we could specify. Say from "1 June 2011" to "22 June 2011".

Occasionally, I check the "Posts since last visit" but get interrupted. When I get back (frequently on a different PC), there are no new posts or maybe one or two.

I know I missed some new posts but there's no way to find out what they were.

Sometimes I would like to search for posts within a certain time frame, say, from "31 December 2010" to 2 February 2011" when I am looking for a post but can't find it.

Just a suggestion---not complaining.

As a corollary to this idea, if we had an option to reset the
date of our last visit afer we lost our internet connection or
a computer crashed while we were signed into the forum,
that would enable us to recall posts since a last visit date.
I know I've been able to do this on other forums as well.

Yeah, I won't get on for a few days and have 70+ post. Be right in the middle and the wife has pic's to email "only take a sec." Get back to it and have one or two out there. And then again, my ISP will drop and I get back on and they will still be there.
