For a really nice light load, 4.8 gr WST with a 185gr SWC. A lot of fun to shoot.

4.6 grains WST-works well with either a 200 grain SWC or 230 FMJ.

Tip for SWC bullets only. The 45 ACP case shortens with each firing but there is a way to compensate by using the SWC to headspace the cartridge. Take the barrel out and adjust the seater die so that the rear of the cartridge is flush or a shade below the barrel hood. If it protrudes it won't close. 1.25 should be about right.

Shot 35 of them today. Not the most accurate but they shot. I only ordered 100 billy bullets to try. My precision delta bullets should be here next week sometime. So ill give them a go.

I know why i love 1911's so much. The trigger on them is awesome. No long pretravel, and a very short reset. Id say its about 4-5# and very smooth. Called SA and it was made june 1993.

5.7gr Win 231 with 230gr LRN bullet (or FMJ). This is on the high side, but I load for SMGs. If just handguns, then 5.5 gr.

.
