Southern Cash and Pawn in McComb sells on Gunbroker as well. They might be your best bet just call and see how much they charge for a FFL transaction.

I can second that, I have done a lot of business with Chad, he is a good guy.
I also can tell you that Southern Cash & Pawn in downtown McComb is good to deal with. Ask for Kevin.

That's ridiculous, no way I would pay that much for a xfer.

You will be lucky to find a transfer for $50 or less. $40 ain't bad for this area.

Even at $4.00 / gallon, $40.00 will buy alot of gas. If he charges that much for a transfer, I would have to wonder about all his other prices as well. Seems kinda steep to me. Only way I would pay $40.00 was if everyone else was charging $50.00.

Yeah, you are lucky!
And even if paying $4/gal for gas, figure how much your time is worth to you per hour, to drive to someplace AND back in order to save $20 or $30, and the $40 may be OK to you. To each his own, just trying to get everyone to consider all of the factors involved in a transfer. I had a friend who once drove from H'burg to Starkville to save $50 on a gun purchase. Back then gas was below $2 a gallon, so that was only a 'minor' factor. So I asked him what was the minimum wage he would work for (he is a craftsman). I think he said something like $15/hour. When I asked how many hours did he drive, ( about 6 round trip) and how much gas, he got really quiet & a little bit p#ss&d off - thinking
Just sayin' there are other things to consider besides just the $ paid for a THING.
When it comes down to it, there are really only 2 things we own in this life: our time and our body. Our body is on loan for maybe 60 - 100 yrs, IF we are fortunate, depending on a lot of factors, genetics, habits, sheer luck/fate. The time is up to us to manage. Don't EVER count your time on this earth as a "zero cost factor".

Actually more a matter of how far do you have to drive / how much time do you have to spend to "save" $10 - $20.
