President and DOJ plan new gun control reforms "soon"

Post by Scharfschütze on Fri Jul 08, 2011 7:17 am

The Prez and the thugs at DOJ are planning gun control "reforms". This straight from the liberal Huff Po:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/07/obama-unveil-gun-control-reforms_n_892633.html

The administration makes no bones about not being able to pass legislation, so :
" But in a nod to the difficulties of getting legislation through a Republican-run House of Representatives, only executive orders or administrative actions -- and not an actual bill -- are expected to be handed to Congress. "

and:
"And as one gun control advocate told the Huffington Post, there are ways to "use these administrative changes to obtain similar results.""

Watch out, guys, after the shootings in Arizona, and failed attempts to "create" a crisis (Operation Fast & Furious) the administration is getting set to make their move. I'd bet it will be announced at a news conference after the next national news event involving a shooting.

Excuse me while I put on my tin foil hat------- False Flag.
Why are they so focused on guns? (that's a rhetorical question)

I think the Ft. Hood shootings were a false flag- why did a "gun novice" choose an expensive, generally "only known to firearms enthusiasts" FN 5.7 handgun? Did he have some "guidance"?
I think there will be a "false flag" that will leave the Obama with "no choice" but to issue his prepared-in-advance executive orders for firearms / magazine restrictions. But that is just my 2 cents - at least until it happens.

Here is another related article from USA Today:

No need to fear, they only want to propose steps to gun "safety".

Voting them out won't work. The rino's are just as bad. They pass the laws, and we tell em to go pound sand in their a$$. What are they gonna do, arrest millions of gun owners? They can't do that. Like the former First Lady said, "Just say NO"!

I see another ban coming, by Exeutive Order or other means.

I'm stocking up while I can.

They are just "waiting" (or setting up) a crisis so they can implement their plan.

Y'all remember that the ban on Norinco firearms and ammunition was done by executive order. Remember the excellent 1911 pistols for $150? The repros of the browning bottom-eject .22 rifles. Check out the website for Marstar (Canada) to see what we are missing as a result of that executive order some 20 + yrs ago. They are going to pounce on the first opportunity that presents itself (or they manufacture themselves) to quickly implement an executive order. That way they won't have to deal with a "sunset" such as happened to the Clinton gun and high capacity magazine ban.
As for a pretense to implement major gun regulation, one only has to look to history: The Martin Luther King Jr., and then the Kennedy brothers' assassinations got us the GCA 1968 (largely translated from the German law under orders of Senator Dodd); then the attempt on President Reagan got us the Brady bill; then when the Clintons came into power they used BATF "trace" data to argue that military-like features made guns more likely to be used in crime, and we got the "Assault Weapons Ban". I honestly believe that this was the original purpose of "Gunwalker" and "Fast and Furious", but they have failed. So look for something to set the stage for Obama's pre-written executive order(s) to be implemented rapidly while the vast majority of gun owners are caught off-guard. Those who complain will be told, even by some fellow gun owners, that it is "common sense". Right after the Clinton ban I was at the Starkville Gun Club- I was a member when I taught at MSU - firing a heavy barrelled AK (semi-RPK) with a drum. Several members asked if that was among the banned imports, when I said yes, they said "you really don't need such a gun anyway, you should sell it and buy a good skeet gun" and invited me to shoot skeet/trap with them using their VERY expensive shotguns on the nearby range. I declined. Such 'country club' gun owners are just like RINOs are to the republican party, IMHO. So try to wake up your fellow gun owners, we will face apathy and complacency if not outright collaboration with the gun banners even from some of our own - if they aren't politically aware and on forums such as this one, they are as good as working against us.

Great post, I agree.

As an added afterthought, I will order a few more hi-cap mags next payday.
