Nice looking gun, rare a 6 shot in that size and weight. If you're fishing where bear fish, I would take the advice of friend stationed in Alaska when we went - File off the front site so it won't hurt so bad when he shoves it up your a... Only occasionally sshoot heavy loads. My loads are light...

I'm not worried about taurus's quality too much. If I paid as much for a handgun as that smith cost, it would be a ruger alaskan. Smiths are ok.... Ruger's where its at
