Handguns should be strapped on not concealed

Post by BuckeyeJoe on Sat Jul 16, 2011 11:16 am

This guy makes some good points but I don't think the general public would take him too seriously. Obviously gun nuts like us are his target audience. I did add him to my favorites and subscribed to his vids. big thumb up

The guy is an idiot (an entertaining idiot). Bad guy sees my weapon, he/she may try to steal it or just challenge me to a gunfight just for the heck of it.

Wearing concealed, no one knows for sure. There is always an element of uncertainty. My weapon is always available to me in my IWB holster and always in the same location and position.

I guess I should have put this in off topic maybe as I found his vid as much entertainment as educating. The open carry issue is kind of a hot topic and I didn't intend to make light of it.

That guy has a legitimate point about concealed pocket pistols. I use to carry a concealed 380auto. Not anymore. I started carrying my Ruger P89 two months ago. I just cover the exposed portion with my shirt and leave the holster exposed. "semi-concealed"

This guy's got about as much sense as the "seven foot crackhead" he keeps talking about, but at least he's concerned about gun safety and hearing protection.

I laughed so hard watching this video. I'm not sure this guy is doing anything good for the image of gun owners in general, but he's doing an awful lot for my sense of humor. I completely lost it when he got to "dinosaur crackhead".

that guy is an idiot. and i promise, i can get out my concealed g23, from my waistband (clip-draw) and have a bead on him, before he can unholster that baseball bat strapped to his side. good luck trying to have that heavy monster drawn and aimed in any timely manner. but yeah, in all seriousness, people like him is what brings a bad name us gun enthusiasts

Yeah, when they see my gun, it'll be a complete suprise. I'll have my stratagy, they'll be the ones trying to reformulate theirs when a new gun is in play.

exactly....he made a lot of valid points(especially about those dinosaur crackheads.... gun2 ), but he certainly does not have an air of legitimacy about him! he needs hair cut, or at least have it more well kept, and he needs to lose the hawaiian shirt BEFORE he starts trying to become the face of anything! ESPECIALLY such an important subject as gun RIGHTS.

I agree with him about it being pretty ridiculous that of all the states in this country who allow open carry, that Texas is not one of them! But, then again, if they are as awesome(insert sarcasm here) at being gun owners as they are at driving then maybe they shouldn't be allowed to show em off.......
