M1 Carbine Match Results (7-16-11)

Pending M1GarandFan's verification.....
Another FUN Carbine HP match at Magnolia. The overcast skys helped with the temperature, but the increased humidity played hell on shooting glasses.
Remember driving in thick fog when you can barely see the end of the hood..... That is what I saw during the rapid-prone stage. Not only was the black bull almost gone, the front sight was fading quickly.......
The match started for me with some fairly poor looking sighter targets. Shoe's 2nd sighter target was KICK-A$$ so I knew I had to kick my A-Game up a notch. Today things just CLICKED......
Pictures and videos later.............................

Yep, scores are correct. I knew I should not have tinkered with my back sight. Can't wait for the next Carbine match. These are really a lot of fun.
Congrats to SGF on winning the match
Also thanks to "Uncle" Ralph for cooking the good grub.

M1GF, I also suggest you slow down a little in rapid-fire. You finish way too fast. Use the time to settle into the next shot better.

I do the same thing. 60-70 seconds is a short time till you are shooting and it seems like it slows down. im gonna take that advice as well next time.
