Its a North American Arms 5 shot .22lr. Anybody got one. Not sure if I'll keep it or not. It is tinnnnnyyy!!
I see you got the .22 mag model, and it looks nice! I have one question for those familiar with these little revolvers. I know you can get models with interchangeable .22lr/.22wmr cylinders, but what would happen if you just put the .22 wmr cylinder in, and shot .22lr with it?

The cases would split. Probably wouldn't ever know it shooting it and wouldn't cause an issue. Those things are so inaccurate that you wouldn't even notice the lack of accuracy. IMHO
Now I have a serious question for the owners of these things. I have had 2 over the years and have shot them a bit. I had lots of misfires with them both. Just doesn't seem like there is enough spring to get reliable ignition.

Thanks, but I'm just curious, what would most likely be the cause of the case splitting? I understand how that happens when you fire... say .44 magnum in a .454 Casull chamber, the explosion forces the smaller case to expand to the larger diameter chamber, causing a tear (or several) in the metal. Aren't .22 mag, and .22 lr cases the same diameter?

The 22 mag case is larger in diameter.
FWIW, a 44 mag in a 454 wouldn't result in a ruptured case, *usually*. I have several 270 Win cases that were obviously fired in a 7mm Mag. No split or separated cases. When I found them, I wondered if goober or whoever finally figured out why they couldn't get ol trusty sighted in.

I have not had any issues yet but I've only put 50 or so rounds through it. That consisted of several types. Rem polymer tips, Rem high velocity hollow points, Win Super X, and CCI stake shot. I plan to shoot it quite a bit over the next few days. I'll report back it there are any issues with it.
