Proud of my daughter's shooting .....

Post by TomBomb on Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:44 pm

Mama-In-Law gave me the Rem. 552 Speedmaster a few months back....finally shot it today...well, my daughter did 1st......

I shot it later after the rain..... great gun, very accurate, very fun............broke it down and cleaned this evening...apparently for the first time in a VERY LONG time....trigger group was a goopball of old oil, powder, and lead.....

Then, she shot her boyfriend's S&W 357...he caught the photo at a great time.....v. cool.....

That's awsome. I enjoy taking my youngins shooting and they both do pretty well. My oldest however we shoot you out of house and home if you let him. Every weekend he ask are we gonna go shooting and here lately I've had to tell him no we have things to do. But when we do go I have to limit him so to speak or he'll run through every round I have in the truck before I know it.lol
well maybe not that bad he does ask first.
Good shooting Mr. Bomb

Never too early to teach girls about guns. We always take the boys with us but the girls need it just as much. She didn't seem to mind the recoil of that .357 at all. Good for her and sounds like you are raising a fine young lady.
