I think it turned out really nice.. Really happy with the finish!!!

If it is Birdsong, that finish will last a looooooooong time. I like the grey theme.
Most importantly, quit paying attention to DW. That is exactly what he wants. Just don't click on any links he sends you because that takes you to the 'VIP' section of his website and you sure don't want to see what is in there.

That looks really good! Did Birdsongs do the grip also? If so what did they use their own finish or is it duracote?

They did the entire gun including the grip.. No sure on the details of the grip, but its an exact match to the slide, etc.. So I am guessing its their finish as well.. I know he said they were in the process of matching the finish colors to a different finish for non-metal products.. Either way it turned out perfect...

Well, looks like I'll be taking my XD9 back to get the grip done to match the slide. I blame this on entirely you.

I got to shoot this Glock on Sunday. Absolutely amazing finish. Most definitely worth every penny and the wait. A gun you can be proud of!
