Hope you get the stamp soon. I had a Trust set up through 2ALawyer, upon your recommendation. He is the man for a Trust, fast... Alton is working on a can now for my 338 Edge, hope to get my paper work rolling before long. A dual purpose .223/22lr can will be next.

Could you give a cost beakdown if you don't mind?

Suppressor, Trust, Form fees, etc.

That would give me an idea of how much I need to put back for mine next year.

Thanks.

Suppressor costs from $400-1000+ depending on what brand/type you get. You are stuck with these cool toys for life, so I would save up for the exact one you want. The tax adds $200 per suppressor. If you buy one you gotta send a check in for $200, if you buy 3 you gotta send in three checks for $200 etc... Also if you are buying directly from a dealer in the state, they will charge you the state tax so that adds another $30+. Now the trust is where you can save some money. I got mine for $200, but i heard you can get them for $50. I had a friend pay $600 for one! I felt comfortable with my $200 since it was put together by a lawyer who just so happens to own a class 3 store(Nathan at MS Auto Arms in Oxford).

Total that up:
$50-$600(one time trust fee)
$400-1000(suppressor)
$200(atf transfer tax)
$30-70(normal sales tax) - If you transfer a can in from another dealer(out of state) you dont have to pay sales tax, but you are gonna get hit with a transfer fee. I had to throw down $100 because i transferred a can, but it still ended up cheaper.

Minimum you are looking at probably $700 for the first one if you get the $50 trust and a nice 22lr can. I would save up $1k-1700 and go ahead and get one fancy one and maybe add a 22lr can with it because the 22lr cans are the real deal. You are going to find more than one you want when you start looking.... Im waiting on my first 3... Blew about $3k on my first trip...

Some additional costs to think about are threaded barrels($120-250 per, dang hk usp barrel is over $200), suppressor parts for changing threads or quick attach flash hiders for mounting - pistons($20-120). These parts can be gathered while you wait on your approval.
