my $15 Carbine bayo's from CMP, thanks capt.

Post by dhollis51 on Fri Aug 05, 2011 6:30 pm

well they came in today and opened them up to see what I got. the only markings on them, which I can't get a good/clear pic of, 3 letters, what looks like a backwards F, then a W, and another backwards F.

capt, i'll bring them to the range for your inspection. now what do I use to clean them up with?

WOW!! Those look great ... mine is sitting at FedEx in Richland and they want give them to me until Monday!! Stupid rule ..

I ususally use some mineral spirts to clean 'em up .. may want to put some leather conditioner on the handles ...

think im gonna put one with my carbine and put the other by my bed cause you could do some serious damage with these, they are sharp also, not razor sharp since they are old but have a good point on them.

Bubba-T.... Not sure of the model number, but I do know unless you plan to put it on a "standard 20" AR", the M16 bayonets won't fit. On with 16" carbines, the distance between the flash hider and the bayo lug is different.

... ... you know they only charge $8.95 to ship 4 -- same shipping as for 2 ... maybe I need to order 6 and see how much shipping they charge ...

I'm sure M1GF would like one as well.

only reason I ordered 2 was the price, $15 you cant beat it. need to get another and put a good edge on it and use it as my camp knife

Yep, I'd like a couple if you make another order. Just two of them.
