17.0 g Blue Dot with a 240 Hornady XTP, for my SBH, something like 12.8 g Unique for my 629. Elmer Keith's load was 22 gr of 2400 and a 250 g lead bullet. But these are all short gun loads, not sure what you need for a rifle. I do know the Speer lead Swc bullets I have work great with a sabot in a 50 cal muzzleloader. Load with caution and work your way up- accuracy, not velocity is what will work best for hunting.
