enhanced permit training...North of Jackson?

There are zero places in MS that is north of Jackson where you can get the training required in order to receive the "IC" on the back of your permit. You can get it in Memphis, but Memphis is not in Mississippi (thank ya Lord). I am hearing Mississippi Auto Arms in Oxford is about to roll out a class. Anybody else heard that?

The only one I know of is Range Master in Memphis (as you pointed out). I haven't heard anything about Nathan doing a class at MS Auto.

I ended up talking to him about it. He said he would make more details available soon. Looks like it might happen.

Delta Defense Training, LLC in Greenwood does the enhanced permit training. They have already done 2 classes. They schedule them on the first and third sat of the month. They also offer other training courses. They have a web site.

Thanks. I know how valuable everyone's time is, so we may be closer thereby, less travel time. We offer other firearms training and also host other instructors. We have an IPSC match twice a month also.

I took my training at rangemasters (they were the closest at the time) and I shoot locally with the ridge bunch.

The law is still pretty new and we're even still having to 'train' the local law enforcement on their 'unknowing' of the law. They always say ignorance of the law is no excuse!

The cost is $100 per student, I'm doing 3 students for$200 and I offer the class for free and you will have 90 days from completion of course to pay and submit your certificate to DPS
