Which 1911 ?

Kimpro mags have a bad reputation. Spend the money and get good mags like Wilsons or Tripp Research.

The extra $8 or so is worth it for GOOD mags.

i have heard nothing but good about Tripp mags......Wilsons on the other hand, are akin to kimpros...some like them, some hate them. as i said earlier, i've had great luck with kimpros, but horrible luck with wilsons. thats just been my experience though. there are lots of folks out there who have had the exact opposite luck, and a lot with similar. many fights have started on 1911forum.com over kimpros vs. wilsons

My Kimpros have been nothing but reliable. Only issues I've had have been with the McCormicks...

i've got 2 CMC powermags, one with the normal rubber base, one with the widened base, and one ACT mag that came stock with my american classic commander. The CMC powermags work perfectly, but the act sags and doesnt load hollow points as well as the CMC's do
