Anyone ever got a M14 stock from Freds?
I just ordered a couple stocks from him and was wondering if anyone else has any of them. I am just really reading into the M1As and also just ordered a new SOCOM 16. I thought it would be neat to see how it looks in an old well used USGI walnut stock. I will post pictures once I get everything in. Fred's M14 stocks.

No, but got one from Dollar General...........sorry I couldn't help myself. In all honesty I've never heard of the place.

I have never ordered anything from Fred's; however, I have heard some good stuff about them. I did get one of the M14 stocks offered by CMP -- it was brand new NOS .... here is the link ..

Yes, I got it about three weeks ago after 6 weeks. Paid 35.00 for a walnut stock. the stock I received was in very good condition with the metal excellent with only a little wear on the but stock. It had the eagle proof mark on the left side and the P proof stamp on the grip. It was numbered (paint) and has no cracks but does have a few dents from the storage racks. As this was my first order from Fred’s he included a front hand guard (brown) in very good condition for FREE. I would recommend him and will order again if I need another stock.

I ordered a M14A1 stock for my select fire M14 back in 1998 cause it was a hand full to shoot with the standard M14 stock. It was a birch stock in A-one condition with all the goodies that come with a A1 stock. But it is still a hand full shooting in full auto. He's got alot of great item's, too. Rambo

His reading material is great as well; if you can get his fiction about a group of riflemen vs. a patrol of UN troops.
I got his "riflemen" package years ago, including qualification targets that simulate different targets and ranges when used at close range (ie, reduced targets) AND came with a cloth USMC-style shooting jacket, that jacket is the one I still use in competitions. He has great customer service and is the driving force behind the "Appleseed" marksmanship movement, you can read about that in other threads on this forum.
