Kimber Mod. 82 Gov trigger job anyone??
I was fortunate enough to get me a CMP Kimber last month, and my shooting in 22 f-class really showed an improvement at our postal match last weekend.
Now I want to lighten the trigger...If somebody has figured out what's what, I would sure appreciate some help on this...it feels ok, but it registers about 2.5plus # on the trigger-pull gauge.
The rifle came with a lil manual that shows 2 adjusting screws in the rear of the action, but no instructions to turn these screws. I guess one tensions the trigger spring and the other moves the sear. The text just says let a qualified gunsmith adjust trigger-pull but that aint my style.

Mine came with another photocopied sheet with adjustment instructions. Look at your paperwork again. If you don't have it let me know and I'll scan it and Email it to you. Got mine down to 1.8 on the gauge, and have taken it lower since. No problems with it.

Thanks I will go over everything tomorrow and let you know if the other sheet is in there. Sure beats the professional gunsmith "route".

82G; Found the manual on-line
Compliments of rimfire central I found an old post with the good book on the KimberM82G. This includes the "missing pages" I needed for my gun. Section 4 covers overtravel, sear, trigger pull and then some. http://stevespages.com/pdf/kimber_82.pdf
Thanks Everybody
