Alabamo Ammo

Post by yroc on Tue Aug 16, 2011 8:57 pm

Any opinions on this stuff? I picked up some new brass 10mm at the Jackson gun show and have not fired it yet.

the guy said it was good for 1280fps out of a 5 incher which is better than most factory 10mm these days

I bought 10mm from him too and asked if is was loaded to 40 short and weak or real 10mm specs and he said it was all 10mm velocities. I've not shot what I bought but have had good results with both their 10mm and 45 ACP in the past. They are A+ in my book.

Where do you buy their stuff. I went to the website, but no store online.

Gun shows or you can call them directly. They come off a bit on prices when ordering/buying in bulk. Really their prices are close to walmart's price on Federal FMJ, but they have quite a bit of variety

I've bought a few hundred rounds from em over the past couple years in various calibers(.45acp, .40, .38 & 9mm) and all have worked well for a reasonable price

I've shot their 44mag, 9mm, 40, and 45acp...... it's the only 45 my Para hi cap 1911 likes.... loaded pretty HOT....good stuff... I have had one round of 9mm that required a double strike, but it did fire the 2nd time....

I've shot hundreds of 45 ACP and some 44 mag from them. Never a single issue. Seems to be good stuff.

On a side note: Their 44 mag ammo packs more of a punch and is more accurate from my handi rifle than any factory Hornandy loads I've used.

Caleb, I agree on the 44 mag ammo.... I was at The Bullet Hole one day shooting it in my 4" Ruger Redhawk, and when I went back in the store area for another target, they asked me what I was shooting...I asked why, thinking it was odd since they see so many shooters, he said because it was shooting flame about 2 ft. out the barrel!!!!
