Nice. Come with that many mags? These companies will give you a mag or two at the most and then hammer you on spares you want.
What are those things going for XD?

I have not heard much about the issc guns, good or bad. I am curious about them though.
Bubbat, the m&p 22 is another one of umarexes pot metal pos guns like the p22 walther. After my experiences with the p22 I don't think I'd take a free gun made largely of pot metal. That was the biggest piece of junk I've owned, maybe worse even than the lorcin I gave $40 even.

The Sig is also a Umarex pistol. I bought one the sold it at a small loss because it just didn't fit my image of a 1911. I had a Service Model Ace in the 70s and it spoiled me. I may have to save a while but that is what i'll get if I ever want another rimfire 1911.

Hmmmm:

All ISSC M22 pistols are finished with our proprietary Ti-clad finish which is comprised of the same chemical properties used by automobile manufacturers for exterior auto paint.

They are just starting to ship the M&P .22 to dealers, the few members on the S&W forum that have gotten theirs have not mention anything about them being made of pot metal, even though they are built by Umarex for Smith. They said the pistols have functioned flawlessly so far. Will have to see one in person.

Everyone on the Sig forum says the Sig 1911 is a rebadged GSG 1911 with a better fit and finish, does Umarex build the GSG?

GSG builds the GSG, its not an umarex pistol at all, its made in Germany. This is the same for the sig. The slides are aluminum on the gsg and the frames are the zinc alloy. I have one and i think it is awesome. Im going to post a review after this weekend, after i put a bunch of rounds through it. I got mine for $375 after tax.

I own the GSG 1911... and the Colt/Umarex 1911.
The Sig 1911 .22 is the GSG 1911 with Sig grips and rollmarks. Same parts, same gun, same factory.
I LOVE my GSG, and have about 8000 rounds through it so far. Runs nearly 100% with just about any ammo.
The Colt is also a nice gun, the finish on it seems to be more durable than the GSG.

I am very interested in the Glock look alike though!! Although I think my next .22 pistol will be a Sig 226 Classic .22.

Wow. Those ISSC pistols have sure jumped in price. When I first noticed them earlier this year, most everyone had them for around $199.

That good or bad?

I consider auto paint a terrible finish compared to most modern firearm finishes.

The Glock finish, for example, is tough as nails.

It is a chemical hardening and protective process:

Glock, an Austrian firearms manufacturer, utilizes the Tenifer process to protect the barrels and slides of the pistols they manufacture. The finish on a Glock pistol is the third and final hardening process. It is 0.05 mm (0.0020 in) thick and produces a 64 Rockwell C hardness rating via a 500 °C (932 °F) nitride bath. (In comparison, an industrial diamond is rated at 70.) The final matte, non-glare finish meets or exceeds stainless steel specifications, is 85% more corrosion resistant than a hard chrome finish, and is 99.9% salt-water corrosion resistant. After the Tenifer process, a black Parkerized finish is applied and the slide is protected even if the finish were to wear off.

Besides Glock several other pistol manufacturers like Smith & Wesson and Springfield Armory, Inc. also use ferritic nitrocarburizing for finishing parts like barrels and slides but they call it Melonite finish.

Thanks! They have been a blast. I shoot them ALOT. Im a huge fan of the 1911 platform, so having a couple in .22 is great! I can shoot all day and not worry about cost. Plus they both run 100% reliable. Which is hard to achieve with ANY .22 pistol.

I cannot post links yet, because my membership here is to new. But type these into youtube search bar and you will find a few quick vids of my GSG in action.
