Coast chapter of MSgunowners.com meet up at gcrpc in woolmarket
Sunday, the 28th of August, we're having a meet up and greet up followed by a BBQ in Woolmarket at the Gulf Coast Rifle and Pistol club. Any and all members welcome, just have it known that there is a 20$ per person charge to shoot, according to the event coordinator, Ken of GCRPC unless we find a ton of gcrpc members who have open guest spots
To RSVP the meet, either send me a PM and I'll put your name on the list, or let me know in the thread located here: http://www.msgunowners.com/t17520-coast-meet-whos-coming
Thanks in advance guys,
Drew

A few more details, please?
1. What does the $20 cover - what type ranges and distance? Skeet and trap or sporting clays?
2. BBQ - bring your own? or will it be furnished?
3. Any type firearms NOT allowed? Full auto -- 50 BMG, etc?
4. Start time is noon - correct?
5. Bring your own targets and/or target stands?
6. What if you just want to attend to Meet & Greet BBQ and meet the folks and not shoot -- is the $20 still applicable?

1.) the 20 covers entrance for yourself in the event that we have more nonmembers than members. To see all the available ranges they have, check out GCRPC.com
2.) byobbq. since we'll probably have the bbq at the pavillion there, and I doubt they got a grill to lend us, one of us will have to furnish it, one will furnish the coal/lighter fluid etc, one the meat and the veggies, one the drinks, etc etc. any other ideas are welcome for how these logistics will go
3.) no ILLEGAL firearms allowed. I think the rule for autos and larger cal like the bmg is ask the range officer once you get there to see if he'll allow it.
4.) yes, start time is noon
5.) yep, bring your own targets and stands. NO GLASS! that was made clear to me over the phone multiple times. If you've got steels to set up, feel free to! I can grab a can of spraypaint prior to showing up for us to spray the steel targets
6.) Thats fine, but keep in mind: if we do not gather at LEAST 200$ for gcrpc, NONE of us can shoot except for members. The 20$ goes towards their 200$ minimum for 10 or fewer people, and each person over that is another 20$. its just how they do it. If we had a lot more people on here who were members and could sponsor us, that may be easier but honestly that's just not an option as we'd need to find 5 or 6 members who don't already plan on bringing someone. If you're going to eat the food, please provide for the group! Its simple as that guys

I have a grill I can bring. I will only have one guest so I still have one spot open. They have a range for everything including skeet, you just have to pay $2 extra per person per round. That covers the clays. The range officer will explain everything at the safety brief.
