Guns 4 Sale?

Just wondering why you have to have 35 posts to post a gun for sale on the forum.

Many sites do that to discourage people from joining a forum just to sell something and then never coming back. Sniper's Hide is 100 posts.

Yeah 35 only takes a minute

He has 36 now, so he's good to go.

What I don't completely understand is the prohibition of posting to somebody else's For Sale thread.

Most forums let folks post an "I'll take it".

Not a big deal---we can always PM the seller---just a bit strange.

I understand the logic: preventing somebody from bad mouthing an offering, but has that ever been a problem here?

Current rules were set at last Meet and Greet...They seem to be working well...

Good move too, there are folks on another forum I frequent that have been there for years. They have under 10 posts ( post in classifieds don't count)...all they do is sell their stuff, or try to. Hard to build up trust when ur just there for the cash. I've passed on some guns I really wanted because of that.

Buying and selling is strictly the business between the buyer and seller -- NOT this Board.

They are a good bunch of guys on here. I think the main reason was to cut down on the clutter, there were posts on some sale items that would go on for a couple pages. As far as bad mouthing Hammer usually catches it or someone else. I have been unable to make it to a meet and greet as of yet but I will make it one day. I joined not just to swap or buy but for the knowledge. If you have a question someone will answer or find out. GREAT PEOPLE.

I like this site the best, keeps it strait and simple and to the point, not a conversation.
