Had a friend pick up one at the last minute before a big hunt. This guy has A LOT of guns, it outshoots all of them. Tightest groups he has ever fired.....

Well built Rifle. Light, only had the oppurtunity to fire the Venture in.223. Shot slightly less tha 1 MOA at 100 yards. Loved the 60 degree bolt throw. Reasonably priced. Can't see where you would go wrong, if this is what you want

Has anyone ever actually seen an Icon for sale in a shop? I have seen the cheaper Ventures, but never an Icon. I remember when they were all the rage in the gun mags.

I have an Icon in .243 (field grade) ... extremely accurate and sub-moa as advertised, well balanced, smooth trigger...the trigger is factory set at what I believe to be at about 3 lbs, it can be adjusted but I like it as is, I also own a Savage .243 with the accutrigger/stock, a Ruger MKII .30-06 with aftermarket Timney trigger and have owned several other bolt, lever and semi auto rifles all of different manufacturers and calibers,...the T/C has the best trigger out of the box of any rifle that I have owned, and is as accurate as my Savage...bolt function is similar to a Browning ... I'm very pleased with this rifle ... the Venture is basically the same rifle with a less expensive synthetic stock...if I were looking for another rifle and Savage didn't offer it I would buy another T/C.

I have a Venture in 7-08 that I got last year. It's great. I went Sun and sot. 0.5" group at 100 yds. Great deal, save some dough for the scope.

If you are thinking of buying a T/C product it's worth noting that beginning this month they are closing their factory in NH and Bushmaster is relocating to another plant owned by S&W...apparently this has been out for a while but I just recently came across the news...very sad.

That's disappointing, especially considering the poor condition of the Massachusetts legal system in regards to firearms.

The Ventures are being recalled right now! I have one and found out when I was at Dicks to buy another. Mines great but hey-recall? Wtf?
